"In 1981, Lisa launched her professional cooking career when she opened her catering company in Massachusetts. After completing her Certificate de Cuisine with Denise K. Schorr ( a friend and colleague of Julia Child’s), she began working in numerous restaurants including the Marriott, a 5-star Italian restaurant, catering companies and several small restaurants. For more than a decade, Lisa worked as a pastry chef, developed restaurant menus, and created dishes for various markets including vegan, vegetarian and other specialty requests.

Her favorites at The Inn at Onancock (2007-2016) were innovative breakfast dishes highlighted in her cookbook “WakeUp & WineDown.” In addition, Lisa teaches classes in bread, pastry, entrees and full menus customized to the participants’ interests and skill level."
