Attention will be given to Steve Locke's Homage to the Auction Block, currently on view in the galleries, which makes reference to Albers's famous Homage to the Square. Topics covered will include color relativity and illusions of transparency, as well as Locke's use of color as metaphor. Recommended for high school age and older.
