Intelligent Robotics and AI: the present and the future

The Department of Computer Science at the American University of Beirut – Mediterraneo (AUB Mediterraneo) is pleased to invite you to a public lecture on “Intelligent Robotics and Artificial Intelligence: the present and the future” on Friday, July 18, at 7:00 pm, at the AUB Mediterraneo Auditorium in Pafos, Cyprus.
The lecture will be delivered by Dr. Alexandros Kouris from the Samsung AI Centre, Cambridge, UK. The lecture, delivered in Greek, will be followed by a discussion panel between Dr. Alexandros Kouris and Dr. Rafael Papallas, assistant professor in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at AUB Mediterraneo.
This event is open to the public and tailored for all audiences, including those with no background in robotics or research. The panel will be interactive, with opportunities for the audience to ask questions and engage in the discussion.
A reception will follow the event, offering a chance to network and continue the conversation with the speakers.

Το Τμήμα Πληροφορικής του Αμερικανικού Πανεπιστημίου της Βηρυτού – Mediterraneo σας προσκαλεί στη δημόσια διάλεξη με θέμα:«Έξυπνη Ρομποτική και Τεχνητή Νοημοσύνη: το παρόν και το μέλλον», με ομιλητή τον Δρα Αλέξανδρος Κουρή, Ερευνητή στο Κέντρο Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης της Samsung στο Cambridge του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου.
Η διάλεξη θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην ελληνική γλώσσα, την Παρασκευή 18 Ιουλίου στις 19:00, στο Αμφιθέατρο του AUB Mediterraneo στην Πάφο.
Θα ακολουθήσει συζήτηση στρογγυλής τραπέζης με τη συμμετοχή του Δρα Αλέξανδρου Κουρή και του Δρα Ραφαήλ Παπαλλά, Επίκουρου Καθηγητή Ρομποτικής και Τεχνητής Νοημοσύνης στο AUB Mediterraneo. Το κοινό θα μπορεί να παρεμβαίνει με ερωτήσεις και τοποθετήσεις.
Θα ακολουθήσει ανοικτή δεξίωση.
