Integrative Approach to Gastrointestinal Conditions: Participants will learn how to manage various intestinal conditions using food ingredients (as medicine), as well as Western and Ayurvedic herbs and supplements. Gastrointestinal conditions include diarrhea, acid reflux, gastritis, IBS, SIBO, etc.

Integrative Approach to Respiratory Diseases: Participants will learn how to approach respiratory infections using herbs (based on European/Western Herbology), food ingredients, experience of Ayurvedic medicine, and mind-body healing techniques.


About the instructor: Dr. Sergei Shaginyan received his Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from Samra University in Los Angeles. He is licensed to practice acupuncture and herbology in California and is board certified by the National Certification Commission in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Dr. Sergei Shaginyan graduated from the Moscow Medical School in Russia in 1981. His training included specializations in pediatrics, psychiatry, adult and pediatric neurology.

He also completed postgraduate fellowship (PhD program) in neurology. In addition to formal training in Western medicine, Dr. S teaches acupressure, nutrition, massage, yoga, healing chant and prayer traditions from many world cultures, as well as, energy work modalities and meditation.
