Organized by

Ciarán Byrne trained as a Sport & Exercise Scientist, holds a Masters in Physiology, and is a Certified Advanced Instructor for the Oxygen Advantage methodology. He is a former competitive athlete and coach with a wide range of experience across a variety of sports. He compliments this background with extensive experience in the cardiovascular health space working with companies such as Abbott. His interest in respiratory physiology originated over 15 years ago. At that time, he participated in breath trainings, run by Patrick McKeown - founder of the Oxygen Advantage programs. At that time there was a focus on health conditions such as asthma. More recently his focus has shifted to athlete-based programs including endurance athletes. Ciaran is based in San Francisco, is a health enthusiast, has been a keen cyclist, and is fascinated by the ability of the body and mind to adapt to training for health and performance benefits.
