Instruments of Healing Sound Certification Course in Lakeland, FL

Can you remember a time when you heard a sound, a song, or a beat and you were instantly transported to a memory, a feeling, or an emotion? Have you noticed how your mood is lifted when you listen to your favorite song? Perhaps you may have even heard how sound can heal the body and want to facilitate this therapy for others.

Sound therapy is a healing modality in which sound vibration is applied to the body to allow you to release, transform, and realign your cells to their ideal state. This type of therapy works very well in the human body, as we are excellent conductors of sound. These frequencies give the body and mind the opportunity to enter a meditative state to best allow for healing to take place.

The application of this therapy can take many different forms, from acoustic to electronic to inaudible sounds that humans cannot hear. Any of these forms helps and facilitates healing for each individual. Each person’s experience is different, but all participants will usually feel relaxed, comfortable, and at peace.

To secure your spot, a non-refundable deposit of $500 is required. Spaces are limited, and this deposit guarantees your participation in the course.

• If you cancel 60 days or more before the course start date, you are eligible for a $200 refund.

Deposit & Payment Policy

This will be an intensive 5-day course.

• Level 1: "Becoming an Instrument of Healing: Foundations of Sound Therapy"
• Level 2: "Embodied Instrument of Healing: The Sound Practitioner's Path."

From the history of sound to the direct application of sound in therapeutic sessions, you will be immersed in all things sound. You will receive a daily sound bath session from me during your certification.

Each student will receive a sound certification book, and you will learn different techniques for playing various instruments in level 1 (August 11–12). In level 2 (August 13 - 15), you will be taught how to use sound in one-on-one sessions as well as create sound bath experiences. Each day will begin at 9 am and conclude at 5 pm. You will have a one-hour break to grab lunch at a nearby place, or you may bring your lunch as well.

Fees In Level 2, you will be attuned to the source energy of sound, and you will be guided more specifically on the curation of sound experiences, both one-on-one and in group settings. You will also be given important information on starting your own business with sound healing.

Is there science behind Sound Baths?

Sound healing and therapy have existed since ancient times. In ancient Greece music was used to treat mental illness. The Australian Aboriginal people, for 40,000 years, used the didgeridoo for sound healing, and in Tibet the singing bowls have been part of spiritual ceremonies for many many years.

The connection between sound and healing was chronicled in 1896 when American physicians discovered that certain types of music improved thought processes and spurred blood flow. This paved the way for creating new therapies with sound and treating a variety of illnesses. Sound therapy has evolved and morphed into many forms of healing that we see today but the fact the sound helps one heal still remains true.

What do the experts say about sound?

Marlynn Wei, M.D., J.D., a board-certified Harvard and Yale trained psychiatrist and therapist, suggests that sound healing has ancient roots in cultures all over the world. I understand that I am responsible for my own health, healing and well-being. I also understand I can heal myself. I hereby request and consent to the technique of energy, spiritual or distance healing modalities within the scope of Cesar Lujan’s healing techniques. I further understand holistic healing is not a substitute for adequate medical care and I intend to remain under the care of my primary healthcare provider.

I will advise Cesar Lujan, CRTS of anything that might help us work together better to achieve the whaling that I seek. I understand the services provided by Cesar Lujan may cause some minor discomfort, and certain adverse side effects.
