Inspiring Films is a monthly community series by the Finding Inspiration Foundation that blends the power of storytelling with open dialogue on mental health. Each month features a new short film centered on a different theme—from depression and addiction to relationships, parenting, and beyond—followed by a guided conversation where participants can reflect, ask questions, and connect with one another.
These events are designed to break stigma, build community, and connect people to real resources for support and healing. Whether you’ve lived through similar experiences, know someone who has, or simply want to learn and be part of the dialogue, Inspiring Films welcomes you.
Upcoming Events:
- October 8 – Hidden In Plain Sight: Realities of Depression
Depression doesn’t wear one face.
It can look like laughter, anger, silence—or nothing at all.

On October 8th, we’re premiering Seasons, a new short film exploring the hidden realities of depression, followed by an open community conversation.
- November 20 – Men’s Mental Health: Breaking the Silence
A night of short films and dialogue featuring multiple men sharing stories and tackling the unique challenges of men’s mental health. - December 18 – Triggers & Our Mental Health
A short film and discussion on how life’s triggers can resurface past traumas and affect our daily lives.
All events are free and open to the public.
