About this event

Business • Sales & Marketing

Did you know nearly 50% of U.S. businesses are family-owned and planning for succession? Without a clear plan, businesses risk disruption, lost revenue, and losing top talent. This half day event will bring a CPA, attorney, SBDC, and SBA as information sources on the topic:

1: Unlocking the Value of Your Business - CPA addressing the methods one might consider and the dollars and sense behind it.

2: Attorney led will walk you through your options, key considerations for a smooth transition, and practical steps you can take in the interim planning—even if you’re short on timing.

3: Bridget Moon, Economic Development Specialist/Veterans Business Development Officer/SCORE Liaison of the Dallas/Fort Worth District Office, U.S. Small Business Administration led by the SBA will bring us around to the business financing topic.

Trinity Valley SBDC supports entrepreneur and existing business. We provide guidance for those considering an acquisition or general financing for lender expectations and the documents they will need to secure financing to structure a loan.

Trinity Valley SBDC is a partnership program with the U.S. Small Business Administration, the State of Texas, and Trinity Valley Community College.
