Innovating the Future

Tuesday, April 9th, 2019 at 1:00 PM (EDT)

Join Boeing and Discovery Education on a mission to inspire the world through aerospace innovation with an exclusive virtual field trip to historic Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. This behind-the-scenes tour will introduce students to Boeing employees who are writing the next chapter of space history. They will reveal some of the unexpected steps taken towards the launch of the Starliner/CST-100 spacecraft and the deployment of the Space Launch System (SLS), and will uncover how both of these missions are critical to the future of the International Space Station (ISS).

Don’t forget to visit to download the VFT companion activity and post your experiences to Twitter using the hashtags #BoeingFUTUREU and #BoeingInspires.

FUTURE U. provides educators with the tools they need to inspire their students to use creativity, collaboration, persistence and problem-solving to change the world.
