A self-proclaimed “doer of things”, you may better know Justin Sailor as Bugsy. A native of Baraga, Michigan, he now resides in Marquette. Bugsy is a 2006 graduate of Michigan State University with degrees in advertising and sociology. Since graduating, he has repeatedly turned ideas and dreams into a reality. A partial list includes a year-long 50-state road trip, which inspired the creation of the Upper Peninsula Supply Co., Michigan’s original Upper Peninsula apparel brand. He is the creator of Plaidurday, the Worldwide Celebration of Plaid, and succeeded in having a beer with Richard Branson after a long social media campaign. When he’s not creating, you might find him skipping stones, taking photos, or playing hockey. Don’t be shy if you see him around town, he’ll likely offer to buy you a pasty or a coffee.
