Overview

Join us on November 20 at 19h for our 18th edition of Inner Spaces at the unique space of àCapela - Live Arts&Bar.

inner space, noun

1: space at or near the earth's surface and especially under the sea

2: one's inner self

Inner spaces are silent oases within our minds where we seek inspiration, tucked away from our conscious awareness. In these sanctuaries, we dream, create, and ultimately express ourselves through art, longing to connect with others. 🦋

Join us for our 18th edition of 'Inner Spaces' on Thursday, November 20, at the unique space of àCapela - Live Arts&Bar. The former deconsecrated chapel of the Palácio dos Condes da Ribeira Grande has been given a new lease of life with àCapela, MACAM's new space dedicated to live music and other performing arts. This is a unique place in the city that combines entertainment, heritage and sharing, where you can experience the artists up close and personal.

Five artists: Genesis, Klara, Ines, Spencer and Celio will guide you through their imaginative worlds, exploring various literary styles and formats—from the magical to the mundane, the profound to the poetic.

We'll hit those soft spots with stories, poetry, and music, so come with an open mind and curious heart. 🔮 💫

The entrance is free, but donations for artists are more than welcome. 🤗

If you’re into writing poetry or making music, come hang out with like-minded literature lovers, budding writers, and artists. ‘Inner Spaces’ is open to all, and we’d love to empower you to share your art in the upcoming sessions. Join as a creative via this form.
