INN Network nonprofit news leaders will gather in person for the first time since the pandemic, in conjunction with this year’s Online News Association Conference in Los Angeles from Sept. 21-24.

INN resumes its @ONA training sessions tailored to nonprofits on Sept. 21 with a special workshop on audience development techniques, plus an Innovation/Impact showcase lunch, the “INNY” Nonprofit News Awards presentation and the return of the INN@ONA reception for members and supporters following the awards.

ONA Conference registration is not required to attend any INN events.

Newsrooms increasingly need to reach audiences that will get the most from their reporting, connect with their mission and develop a long-term relationship. Get hands on with tools to better communicate with your audience and recognize key signs that your newsroom is building a positive long-term relationship as INN reviews the latest research on news audience engagement and shares innovative ways to understand your audience. Led by INN's Sam Cholke with Tim Franklin from Northwestern University. The audience development training is sold out, but a waitlist is available.
