Wistariahurst Museum is excited to announce an upcoming presentation with Donnabelle Casis, corresponding with the museum’s Current exhibit: Identity in Ink: The Art of Tattooing. This talk will dive into the history of Filipino tattooing. Visitors will learn about symbolism found in common tattoos and the practice of hand-tapped tattooing. This method of tattooing is touched upon in the exhibit, but Casis will dive deeper, sharing her own connections to tattooing.
Inked in Symbolism will take place on November 10th, 2025, from 6pm-7pm. We hope to see you for this exciting talk to close out the exhibit!

El Museo Wistariahurst se complace en anunciar una próxima presentación con Donnabelle Casis, en relación con la exposición actual del museo: Identidad en tinta: el arte del tatuaje. Esta charla se adentrará en la historia del tatuaje filipino. Los visitantes aprenderán sobre el simbolismo que se encuentra en los tatuajes comunes y la práctica del tatuaje a mano alzada.
