Ink & Mud: Gritty Explorations in Printmaking

In this mixed media class, we will reimagine printmaking through using plaster as a plate and substrate for artwork. Using imagery to invoke personal narrative, we will learn lithography and apply an array of designs on plaster blocks that we will cast in class. This unique exploration in materiality focuses on collage and cross-pollination of art methods such as sculpture and print. Come prepared for ink and mud inspired adventures!
