Texas Music Office to Host Informational Session on the Texas Music Incubator Rebate Program

The Texas Music Office (TMO) will host an informational session on the Texas Music Incubator Rebate (TMIR) Program, a state-funded initiative designed to support live music venues and music festival promoters across Texas. The TMIR Program provides eligible applicants with a rebate of up to $100,000 on mixed beverage gross receipts taxes or sales taxes from the sale of beer and wine. The program aims to strengthen the state’s music industry by reinvesting tax revenue into the venues and festivals that drive local music economies.
This session will offer a detailed overview of the program, including eligibility requirements and the step-by-step application process. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance directly from TMO staff.
This session is targeted toward venue owners and festival promoters who have live music, sell alcohol, and have been in operation for at least two years.
