Inebriated Shakespeare presents Othello

Jealousy. Manipulation. Betrayal. One very bad “friend.” Othello is Shakespeare’s razor-sharp tragedy of love pushed to the brink—and in our hands, it’s getting served Soliloquy Under the Influence.

Inebriated Shakespeare is a 501(c)(3) acting troupe on a mission to entertain & educate audiences with a fresh and modern-ish take on the Bard. We perform an abridged version of the play in a bar/club setting, and you control the chaos: with every donation of $5 or more, our audience can “support the arts” by sending our players a shot of top-shelf liquor. As the story spirals, so do we—responsibly.

Expect big drama, bigger laughs, and a night where the tragedy is classic… and the actors are progressively less capable of hiding it.

We take our drinking very seriously: we advocate responsible drinking, designated drivers, and soliloquies said with conviction (even if the words start to wobble).
