Indigo + Shibori Style Bandana Dyeing Workshop at Alder and Sage

All attendees will receive a 24" x 24" cotton bandana to dye in an organic fructos indigo vat. Shibori is a Japanese method of creating a resist on fabric through tying, folding or clamping the fabric prior to immersing in the dyebath. You will be able to rinse and dry out your bandana on the patio.

Instructions and demo by Judi Pettite, artist and educator working with natural pigments specializing in indigo and native plants. She has taught at universities and colleges and given workshops and talks in California and Europe. Find her work with natural pigments @biohue and biohue.com.
