Learn about Indigenous plants and explore ways to grow and cook with them. then take part in a relaxed drawing workshop

11am to 1pm

Elder Aunty Jo Russell (Wiradjuri from New South Wales) will share her knowledge of Bushtucker food, fibre and medicine from local Indigenous plants.Learn to cook with Indigenous plants and learn about the rich history and significance of these plants to the local community. Discover their unique characteristics and how to incorporate them into your own garden.

Includes light lunch using Indigenous plants

1pm to 3pm

Join artist Craig Burgess from Draw Plants Together for a friendly and inclusive drawing workshop. Experiment with drawing and connect creatively with the plants of Aunty Jo’s garden in a supportive space. No experience with drawing necessary – just bring your curiosity. All drawing materials provided.These hands-on workshops are perfect for nature enthusiasts and gardening beginners alike.Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with nature and learn something new! Places are limited.
