About the Film:

While vacationing in Hawaii, Alex Cook witnesses a body vanish into thin air—then meets Namaka, a mesmerizing woman who disappears just as suddenly. Seeking answers, he turns to eccentric podcaster Guy Torino (Jamie Kennedy). But the deeper they dig, the clearer it becomes: Namaka isn’t human… and she’s not done with Alex.

The film is based on Hawaiian mythology with a focus on a lesser known Demigod called Namaka. In that mythology, Namaka is a cousin to Maui, the Demigod famously portrayed by Dwayne Johnson in Disney’s Moana franchise.
