You're invited to bring your knitting (crochet, embroidery, beading, cross-stitch, fidget toy, whatever) out for an afternoon of nature, conversation, and community. Knitty Council will meet at the ILCA Community Garden to hang out, chat, and share tips, tricks, and advice. Our programming is flexible -- some weeks may have a theme or speaker, while others will be more laid back. Everyone is welcome!

Do I have to know how to knit or crochet? Nope! As long as your craft is portable, it's welcome. And if you're a total beginner, we'll help you get started at just about any fiber art.

Do I have to buy materials and tools? No again. We've got a pretty extensive collection of yarn and implements of construction to share.

Do I have to come every week? We're a low-maintenance, commitment-free relationship. Drop in when you have the time. Stay half an hour or for the whole session. We won't guilt you if you ghost us.

Audience: Youth to retirees. Children welcome with an adult.

All programming will take place at the Indian Lake Garden, across from 3 West Boylston Drive Worcester, MA 01606.

All events are subject to changes as a result of weather events. All cancelled and rescheduled events will be posted on the Indian Lake Community Association page: https://www.facebook.com/IndianLakeCommunityAssociation

The garden is a zero-waste site. All items or trash brought in, must be taken out of the garden.

The nearest public facility is located at Price Rite: 117 Gold Star Blvd. Seating at the garden can be limited, therefore if you’re able to provide your own outdoor chair or blanket to sit on, that would be appreciated.
