Join us at incontro caffe on Friday, October 17 at 7pm as we recognize Domestic Violence Awareness Month through performance, installation, visual art, special rituals, and poetry.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, many people do not survive and the ones that do go on to live are sometimes left to create an escape plan, and get back on their feet. At times with assistance & resources, and other times ALONE. This showcase will gently walk us through the healing process of each individual artists' empowering & fortitudinous journey as a survivor. There will be a collective ritual to begin & end the night, followed by poetry performances, visual art, & film.
