Books Are Magic is thrilled to present an evening with George R. R. Martin, in conversation with John Hodgman, and in partnership with the Brooklyn Book Bodega. This is a night celebrating our shared love of books, Mr. Martin's experience as a reader, writer, and bookstore owner, and Brooklyn Book Bodega's mission to put free books in the hands of children and families across the city!

All ticket proceeds will be donated to the Brooklyn Book Bodega.

Brooklyn Book Bodega is a nonprofit with the mission of increasing the number of 100+ book homes for kids 0-18 in NYC. Brooklyn Book Bodega provides access to and ownership of books, builds community, and creates a passion for learning through free events and literacy-based community programming.

Kids who read have better life outcomes. Brooklyn Book Bodega believes that all children should be part of a vibrant, literate community and grow up in homes with access to books that they want to read regardless of financial status. Brooklyn Book Bodega has helped thousands of New Yorkers start or add to their home libraries by giving out more than half a million books.
