In-person meeting of the FoRB Roundtable Brussels-EU with ODIHR

Dear participant of the FoRB Roundtable Brussels-EU,

On Monday December 1 we will have an in-person meeting, at the Press Club in Brussels, Rue Froissart 95.

It will be from 14:00 to 17:00.

Special guests:

During the meeting, we will have Delia Nita, human rights expert from ODIHR who will brief us on their latest publication on FoRB: Think Again: Freedom of Thought in the Age of Artificial Intelligence | OSCE?

Also amongst us we will have Mikaela Christiansson, Adviser on Combating Racism, Xenophobia and Religious Intolerance at ODIHR, who will brief us on their latest guide “Understanding Anti-Christian Hate Crimes and Addressing the Security Needs of Christian Communities”, and some recent trends on anti-religious hate incidents (the 2024 ODIHR report on hate crimes incidents will be launched just two weeks before this meeting)

Then, our Chair Emeritus Thomas Schirrmacher will be there, and after traveling more than 50 countries this year, he will give a contribution on the state of FoRB worldwide.

And of course there will be time for sharing your own issues and initiatives.
