Achieve Your GED at the Carver Center for Families
Join our comprehensive 18-week GED preparation program designed to help you succeed! Led by experienced educator Cory J. Spencer, M.Ed., and supported by the Georgetown Project's Bridges to Growth program, this course provides everything you need to earn your GED credential.

Program Details:
- When: 18-week sessions offered Spring & Fall 2026
- Where: Carver Center for Families
- Led by: Certified Adult Basic Education Instructor from MissionEd Adult Learning Solutions
- Support: Program Coordinator to assist with enrollment and student progress
Orientation & Assessment: All prospective students must attend orientation on Tuesday, January 13 OR Wednesday, January 14 at the Carver Center. During orientation, we will assess your current education level to ensure proper placement and support throughout the program.
About Your Instructor: Cory J. Spencer brings 7+ years of adult education experience and previously coordinated the successful GED Program at this location. She holds a Master's in Secondary Education and specializes in helping adult learners achieve their goals.
Registration: Registering for one class registers you for the full semester.
