About this event

This class will meet in-person at the Embry Hills Library for 6 consecutive Thursdays from 11am - 1:30pm beginning May 2 and ending June 6. Registration required.

With the expert guidance of two trained and certified Lay Leaders, you will learn skills to manage common symptoms experienced while living with diabetes and improve daily life. Over the 6 weeks, registered participants will learn to understand more about your diabetes and how it affects your body, communicate effectively with friends, family, and health professionals, manage stress and difficult emotions, improve sleep and eating habits, and much more!

This workshop is designed to build confidence and increase knowledge about symptom control and the disease’s impact. This highly interactive class meets once weekly for 6-weeks and will focus on skill-building, support, and safe sharing.
