The Catalina Organ Festival was established in 2014 by Catalina United Methodist Church in Tucson, Arizona.  The Ralph and Shirley Morgan Memorial Quimby Opus 70 4 manual Pipe Organ was dedicated on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014.   This is the 8th season of special organ music concerts in the sanctuary of the Catalina United Methodist Church.

Dennis Grannan, principal organist, at Catalina is the curator for the festival.   The diversity of color and breadth of music that can be performed on this brilliant new instrument are immense.  Vocal ensembles with orchestras such as True Concord, Arizona Repertory Singers, Arizona Choral Society, Tucson Masterworks and The Helios Ensemble choose this venue for their concerts.

Catalina has a long and storied history of music in Tucson.   The Catalina Organ Festival has hosted international luminary organists such as Olivier Latry, Shin Lee, Kimberly Marshall and Raul Preito Ramirez as well as many U. S. based artists.  Douglas Cleveland, Crista Miller, Pamela Decker, David Enlow,  John Schwandt, Peter Krasinski, Dorothy Papadakis, Isabelle Demers, Renee Anne Louprette, Chelsea Chen, Colin Lynch, Jan Kraybill, and Katelyn Emerson. These events are another chapter in the history of church music and performance in the southwest.
