About this event

In this 5-part introduction class, we will cover all of the basics from the beginning to the end of a project. We will discuss basic tools, purchasing materials, threading the sewing machine, and using the serger. We will cover reading a pattern, laying out, cutting a pattern, and constructing a project. Basic tools and machines will be provided, but class participants will purchase their own pattern and materials (a guided shopping trip is an option, available on request, subject to mutual availability).

This class is intended for students' ages 16+

The class will be held on Wednesdays, 6 to 8 pm, 9/17, 10/1, 10/8, 10/15.

Important (there will be no class on 9/24) !
