Des Plaines Toastmasters 1645 meets (6:50-8:20 PM CT) monthly via Zoom on 1st & 3rd Mondays plus Hybrid on 3rd Mondays (In-Person meeting held at Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 Ellinwood St, Room B (parking in adjacent Parking Garage). Please arrive by 6:45 PM!
Each meeting's agenda/program is available via Chat for Zoom attendees & printed for In-Person attendees. Each meeting includes 3 main segments: *Prepared speeches; *Speech Evaluations; *several Table Topics (impromptu speaking opportunities) in which guests can participate if they choose. (Some meetings include a Guest Speaker or an Educational Speech by a club officer or advanced member.) Guests may be asked to introduce themselves.
Register using Eventbrite for any meeting date. You'll get our Zoom URL & Passcode FUNNYBONE. (In-person attendees can also register at the door.)
Membership is open to Beginner, Advanced, and ESL communicators & leaders who must be 18 or older. (A Mentor coaches all new members.)
