Improving Course Accessibility Using Canvas and Ally

Ensure your Canvas course content is accessible for all learners by using the built-in Accessibility Checker and Ally tool. In this interactive session, you’ll learn how to locate and fix common accessibility issues using Canvas’s Rich Content Editor and explore how Ally automatically evaluates files and provides alternative formats for students. From improving text contrast to adding alt text and enhancing document structure, this workshop will equip you with the foundational skills to create a more inclusive digital classroom.
