Overview

Research shows that Emotional Intelligence (EI) is an indispensable skill for your professional success. You will learn how to identify and manage your own emotional state in order to perceive, understand, interpret and respond effectively to the emotions of others.

Learning Objectives

After attending the program, participants will be able to:

• List at least two competencies necessary to develop EI
• Discuss at least three components of EI from Bar-on or Goleman’s EI models;
• Apply at least two ways to better manage their and others’ emotions.

• Bar on EQi model (innate emotional traits: emotional sensitivity, emotional memory, emotional learning ability, emotional processing, problem solving ability

Participants: All health professionals including Health Educators, Licensed Counselors, Clinicians, Nurses, Psychologists, Students, and the general public.

• Cancellation two weeks prior to the training = 50% refund
• Cancellation anytime after two weeks prior to the training = NO REFUND but payment can be applied to a future training
