This is a supplemental course in the Improv for busy professionals series, which focuses on presentations. You’ll learn presentation frameworks and leverage standup comedy writing techniques to make your presentations modular like those pros. Create fresh presentations while reusing the same content.
- Learn six common frameworks to deliver monologues that feel prepared, even when you're speaking on the fly.
- Learn to be more present when speaking to connect with the audience.
- Apply the “yes, and” improv principle to make your message more accessible to any audience.
- Get rid of memorized notes by making them modular with standup writing techniques.
- Incorporate callbacks for more memorable content.
- Learn how to apply the “game of the scene” to your presentations by identifying and amplifying a pattern that captures the audience's attention.

INSTRUCTOR BIO
Gordon has been with RA since 2022 and teaches the introductory, and intermediate class. Before joining RA, he has facilitated numerous workshops and specializes in improving team dynamics. He has also trained with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, and the World’s Greatest Improv School.
