"What is improv?" you may ask. Great question, you're very smart! Improv is a form of comedy where everything is made up on the spot and inspired by audience suggestions. So come out and see some comedy that's never been done before and will never be done again!
The Lineup:
Huge Nuisance is a high-energy improv team based out of Baltimore, Maryland that follows the fun and runs silly and chaotic montage sets.
One Act: Pop Up Musical! will bring an improvised musical to life. A hero’s wish sparks a story of enemies and twists in a world you’ve never seen before. A cast of fresh faces and theater vets creates everything you love (or love to hate!) about musicals. They'll instantly create scenes where characters break out into original songs, big finales, larger-than-life characters, and over-the-top evil villains, all shaped by an idea from the audience.
Plot Twist is a large improv troupe that came together through classes at the Baltimore Improv Group. So, you could say they are a big B.I.G. group! You can also say they are a talented group with a diverse array of players that all offer something unique. They focus on general long-form improv, but be prepared for some plot twists!
