What should I Wear/Bring?

WEAR: Clothes you can comfortably move in. Closed-toe shoes that will stay on your feet - there's nothing worse than projectile crocs. BRING: A water bottle (optional) and a great attitude (required).

Do I need to be funny to take this workshop?

Nope! In fact, TRYING to be funny can get in your way. Furthermore, people take improv for a multitude of reasons that have nothing to do with making people laugh.

Can my younger kiddo take this workshop too?

Short answer: No. Long answer: The pacing of this class is set for the age range listed and we have found that everyone has a better experience when we stick to established age guidelines.

Is this an audition for your ComedySportz team?

While people do raise up to play with us by taking classes, this workshop is entirely meant to be a way for the improv curious to try before they commit.

Led by a supportive and experienced instructor, you’ll play simple games, meet new people, and discover the joy of saying “yes, and!” in a fun, low-pressure environment. Whether you're looking to build confidence, spark creativity, or just try something new, this class is your first step into the world of improv.
