For seasoned roleplayers and newcomers alike, this workshop will teach you how to infuse games like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Call of Cthulhu, and more with the creative power of improvisation!
Whatever your experience level or system of choice, using improv skills at the roleplaying table can create more opportunities for fun! John Serpico creates a joyful and accessible classroom environment that will prepare you to engage with emotional safety, increased spontaneity, and plenty of agency for everybody around the table! About the Instructor
John Serpico has been directing, teaching and producing improvisational comedy for over twenty years. You can currently see him performing in the Nova Show, directing Varsity Improv, and doing both in Magic: The Gathering: The Show.
About the Class Level
At The Nova Comedy Collective, we call this an LAUNCH CLASS - meaning it's perfect for participants with any level of experience, from seasoned player to complete beginner!
About the Location
This class is located at The Cambridge Foundry, inside THE YELLOW MULTIROOM. If you head in through the front of the Foundry, you'll see a staircase straight ahead. The entrance to the room is right under the stairs. And if you need help, you can ask at the front table - The Foundry staff is ready to help!
