Step a little outside your comfort zone—in a supportive space designed just for introverts and people with social anxiety.

Improv for Introverts is a beginner-level class that is perfect for anyone who simply wants to feel more confident connecting with others. This is a welcoming, low-pressure environment where everyone starts from the same place—no acting or comedy experience required any any participation is voluntary. Taught by public speaking/communication coach and performer, Lizzy Wallace.

We will explore playful group and partner improv games that focus on openness, creativity, and communication rather than performance or being funny. The goal isn’t to “put on a show,” but to discover how spontaneous expression can build trust, confidence, and joy. You’ll learn how to stay present, listen deeply, and collaborate with others—all while gently stretching the edges of your comfort zone.

Schedule:

Wednesday November 12th

6-8PM

Throughout the class, participants often find themselves:

  • Gaining confidence in conversations and social settings
  • Improving listening and communication skills
  • Feeling more comfortable with uncertainty and spontaneity
  • Meeting like-minded people and forming real connections

Your ticket includes complimentary coffee, tea, water, and light bites. The cozy Emerald Lounge café across the hall offers plenty more to enjoy before, during, and a perfect place to hang out after class, and nearby restaurants make it easy to grab dinner with new friends. A convenient parking garage is attached to the venue and public transit stops are close by for an easy commute.

"Lizzy is a an excellent teacher. As a nonnative English speaker, Lizzy made it comfortable for me to open up and be vulnerable from the start. The tools that I learned from her class were invaluable and exceeded my expectations. I was feeling fearful coming to the class but empowered leaving the class. It was a great experience!"

Come curious, not confident. Leave charmed, challenged, and connected.
