Are you looking for more spontaneity, laughter, play, or connection?
Do you want to overcome anxiety, social anxiety, or perfectionism?
The tools of improv can be applied to our daily lives to help us be more present, let go of old patterns, and feel more confident. Group therapy can help us feel more connected, improve our relationships, and practice new ways of being with others.
Equal parts improv class and therapy group, this class facilitates self-growth in an environment that is both playful and supportive.
This drop-in is a single session, designed to give participants a taste of the Improv For Growth 10-week series (however there is no pressure to join that series.)
- No prior improv experience necessary.
- Come unprepared!
- Wear comfortable clothes you can move in.
- Danspace is a shoes-off space. Some participants may want to bring cozy socks or slippers.
This group is facilitated by Elizabeth Ehrenberg, LCSW and Cody Dunitz, AMFT.
Elizabeth Ehrenberg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (#64143) with over 15 years of experience as a group therapist and over two decades of experience doing improv. She has been running Living Improv groups since 2015.
Cody Dunitz is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#136349) and a long time improviser. She loves combining therapy and improv. Cody is supervised by Stephanie Bossy LMFT #127411
