Emotional reactions are the bedrock of improv. In our second level, you will strengthen the skills you built in our Intro class and focus on creating sustainable scenes based on patterns of emotional behavior that inform Characters and Relationships.

Great if you want to dig deeper into improv or if you need to interact with other humans in your day-to-day life.

Dates: This class runs Tuesdays from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, starting August 12th and running for 8 weeks. A showcase will be scheduled as an additional opportunity on an evening during the week of October 5th or October 12th

Instructor: Anthony Brazeau

Anthony Brazeau has been performing improv at the Coalition Theater for the past 8 years and has been teaching their 201 course (characters and relationships) for the past 5 years. He currently performs at the Coalition on the house team, The Movies; along with coaching the house team Street Jelly. His two-person improv team BABE has traveled up and down the east coast performing in as many different improv festivals as will let them in…so far that’s 10. Anthony also has that gene that makes cilantro tastes like soap.

COST: $250 (Early Bird $220)

The Coalition Theater is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Once classes begin, all sales are final. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise that prevent you from attending or completing your registered class. While we do our best to accommodate such situations, refunds are awarded only as credit for a future class or shows and are subject to the discretion of The Coalition Theater management. Requests for refunds will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and any decisions regarding refunds will be made at the discretion of the theater.
