Want to try improv but don't know where to start? Looking for the right vibe?

Let Petey welcome you into a safe space to be a little idiot, meet new people, and strengthen your ability to speak up.

Improvisation is an incredible practice of being present and connecting to the room around you. Don't worry about being "funny" this is a space to shake off our screaming brains, learn the core principles of improv, and be in community.

Petey Gibson is a working actor and graduate of The Groundlings School, and teaches improv and scene study with ActNow. Comedy credits include Broad City, Grace & Frankie, and multiple comedy festivals.

If you've taken this class before, you are welcome to take it again!

Frequently asked questions

Will this be the same class offered during the Joy Who Lived Festival?

Yes and no! No two classes are alike, and some exercises will vary, but this will be quite similar to what was offered during Joy Who Lived. We'd love to have you back for this class though if it resonates!
