IMPRINT: Printmaking Workshop with Elvia Perrin
Overview
Elvia Perrin is a printmaker and associate professor at the School of Art and Design at Texas State University. She will lead an interactive printmaking workshop that will sure leave a lasting impression.
This workshop is provided by projectART as a companion to our upcoming exhibit IMPRINT.
Elvia Perrin received her Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking and Drawing and teaches at the university level. She has worked as a professional collaborator, printer and artist at Flatbed Press + Gallery in Austin, Texas. Elvia is the co-founder and former Executive Director of PrintAustin, a city-wide contemporary print event. She has collaborated with various retailers, including Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel and TRNK, NY. She has work featured in various high-profile media films and commercials, including 2017 Spider-Man Movie. Twenty-five of her original prints were acquired for the Artist Printmaker Research Collection: Museum of Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Most recently her print Interstice was collected by the Museum of Fine Arts Houston in Houston, Texas. Elvia has exhibited her work nationally and internationally and lives in Austin, Texas.
