Green Kill is a peer to peer art space for dedicated writers, performers, musicians, and artists. Impossible Readings is a series started in 2014 in Brooklyn, NY and recently imported up the Hudson Valley to Kingston, NY hosted by Elizabeth Guthrie

Matt Mottel

Matt Mottel (born 1981, New York, NY) is an artist, performer and writer who enlivens primary source materials and creates collaborative artworks that amplify knowledge and provide access to subterranean culture. Social activism and cultural community are threads that run throughout Mottel’s extensive body of performances, videos, sculptures and music. Mottel’s comprehensive artistic foraging stems from his native New York upbringing.

His B.A. is in Political & Cultural Studies (SUNY New Paltz, 2003). He graduated from City College’s Digital Intermedia Art Practice program, receiving a M.F.A. in2019.

Mottel builds geodesic domes as a performance architecture based on Syeus Mottel’s (father) 1970’s photojournalism of Loisaida cultural organization CHARAS, who built geodesic domes in collaboration with Buckminster Fuller.

He is currently researching the 18th century era of the keytar and is also inspired by the 24 hour format that was HnH Bagels….

Stacy Szymaszek

Stacy Szymaszek is the author of seven full-length books of poetry. The Pasolini Book and Famous Hermits are both forthcoming in 2022.

She is the recipient of a 2014 New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Poetry and a 2019 Foundation for Contemporary Arts

grant in poetry. From 2007-2018, she was the director of The Poetry Project at St. Mark's Church in NYC. She currently lives in the

Hudson Valley where she is an educator and freelance consultant for arts and social justice nonprofits.

Edwin Torres

Edwin Torres' books include; The Animal's Perception of Earth (DoubleCross Press), Xoeteox: the infinite word object (Wave Books), Ameriscopia (University of Arizona Press), and he is editor of The Body In Language: An Anthology (Counterpath Press). He has performed his bodylingo poetics worldwide, fellowships include NYFA, The Foundation for Contemporary Arts and The DIA Foundation. Anthologies include, Poets In The 21st Century: Poetics of Social Engagement, Post Modern American Poetry Vol 2, In/Filtration: An Anthology of Innovative Poetry From The Hudson Valley, and Aloud: Voices From The Nuyorican Poets Café. He is a New York City native, who now lives in Beacon with his wife, son, and cat animal. His recent book, Quanundrum: i will be your many angled thing, was published by Roof Books.
