Event Details

In the world of technology, Lovitt & Touche has discovered a tool that employers can use during the interview process to help determine whether a candidate meets the physical requirements of the job.

CRT Isokinetic Testing is a safe, objective and scientific method to assist you with hiring qualified candidates.  In addition, a baseline will be established that may be used to specify the extent of some work related injuries.  Testing may also be utilized during the workers’ compensation process to determine when an injured worker is ready to return to work.

Learn how CRT provides employers improved screening processes, better managed claims, and increased ability to compete in the physically demanding work industry.

Target Audience: Employers with workers in physically demanding jobs; company leaders in workers compensation claim management and coverage.

Topics Covered:

  • Experience Success
    • Claim trends
    • Strong correlation of quality hiring practices to prevention of workers’ compensation claims
    • Loss control experience using CRT
  • Pre-employment screening
    • Defensible job task analysis
    • Identify physically qualified applicants
    • Establishing baseline
  • Post-injury screening
    • Initial Evaluation – determine extent of work injury; identify specific treatment plan
    • Progress Evaluation – measure progress
    • Return-to-Work Evaluation – used in conjunction with physician evaluation to determine employee capability of returning to work and help define scope of limitations
  • Live demonstration of CRT ET2000 technology
