About the event

Team-Based Learning is being explored in a growing number of K-12 settings as educators seek more interactive and student-centered approaches. However, it’s not always straightforward to adapt an active learning pedagogy to young learners.

Join us for a one-hour panel discussion with K-12 educators who have first-hand experience integrating TBL into their teaching. They'll share why TBL is a valuable approach in K-12 education, what challenges they've faced in their own classrooms, and the strategies they use to keep students engaged and collaborative.

During the panel chat, we will broadly cover the following:

  • What is TBL and what makes it a valuable approach for younger learners?
  • What are some of the common challenges of implementing TBL for younger learners?
  • What are the benefits of adopting TBL in K-12 classrooms?
  • How can educators get started with TBL in their schools?

Whether you're TBL-curious or already experimenting with it in your school, this discussion is for educators looking to enhance their teaching and foster student engagement in K-12 education through Team-Based Learning.

While the focus is on K–12, the session is equally relevant to anyone exploring TBL in other contexts—including community colleges, first-generation student programs, or early postsecondary education.
