Overview

Learn how leading executives turn strategic plans into operational success across diverse health system settings.

Effective strategy execution requires alignment across leadership, operations, and organizational culture. This session convenes a panel of experienced executives to share insights on bridging the gap between strategic intent and operational performance. Panelists include Phil DeBruzzi, Partner at The Innova Group; Jeff Kilpatrick, Partner at The Innova Group; Bo Cofield, Chief Operating Officer of Northern Arizona Healthcare; and Roshy Didehban, Chief Administrative Officer of Mayo Clinic Arizona. Together, these leaders bring a comprehensive and holistic perspective on implementing strategic plans for successful operations—drawing from national consulting, regional health system, and academic medical center viewpoints.

The topics we will discuss include aligning strategic priorities with operational capabilities, translating long-term plans into actionable short-term goals, engaging leadership teams and frontline staff in execution, leveraging data and performance metrics to track progress, managing resource constraints and change during implementation, sustaining operational excellence through continuous improvement, lessons learned from large and regional system perspectives.
