This 2-day course is a hands-on, field based course focused on in-the-field implementation of cheap and cheerful stream restoration. We will cover the principles behind cheap and cheerful restoration and spend most of our time in the field building and maintaining BDAs and PALS. This course is designed for individuals/groups that are responsible for implementing the restoration designs of more experienced practitioners. We will focus on interpreting and understanding restoration design through applied understanding of basic cheap and cheerful principles and focus on logistic considerations and construction methods of a variety of restoration structures.

What can I bring into the event?

You should bring clothes for changing weather, as we will be outside most of the time. Expect to get wet, so bring waders

What's the refund policy?

If you are unable to attend, we will refund your fee up to one week before the course begins. After that, we will refund 50% within 3 days. Within three days, no refund will be available.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, but it would be helpful to bring a copy of the confirmation email to exchange for your name tag when we arrive for the first meeting.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes, as long as there is only one person per paid ticket.
