Impact Play for Queers with Luna is a dynamic, inclusive class that invites LGBTQIA2S+ folks to explore the art of consensual striking—spanking, paddling, flogging, slapping, and more—in a queer-centered space. Whether you're a seasoned top, an eager bottom, or just kink-curious, Luna creates a playful, affirming environment to learn about physical intensity, body-based communication, and the erotic possibilities of sensation. This class celebrates queer bodies, desires, and relationships, with an emphasis on creativity, consent, and connection.
You'll learn the fundamentals of safe and effective impact play, including how to use different tools, strike zones to avoid, how to warm up a body for heavier play, and the importance of rhythm, pacing, and communication. Luna will also delve into negotiation strategies, consent frameworks, and how to navigate power exchange through a queer lens—acknowledging the unique dynamics, traumas, and joys that come with queer sexuality. Discussions and demos will center queer experiences, with space for all genders and relationship styles.
Participants are encouraged to bring partners, friends, or come solo—there will be opportunities for guided practice and observation, with consent and comfort prioritized at every step. About your instructor: Luna has been an educator in the kink community for the past 10 years. Their love and dedication for the kink community has been the driving force for them to pursue educating people on such topics in a loving and accepting way. Originally from Atlanta, Ga, Luna got their start working with their local dungeon as a dungeon monitor at the age of 18. They dove into taking every class they possibly could to learn all they could from their elders in the community. From there, they began a mentorship under a local Domme, and absorbed as much information from their surrounding kinksters, while pursuing an education and doing independent research on their own time. Eventually, Luna was able to assist in teaching classes with her Domme, introducing people to the kink community and lifestyle. After a few years of assisting, Luna was given the opportunity to teach their first class as the leading voice. Since then, their passion for kink education has only grown and flourished with the help of the community and their partners. Now, Luna resides in the Denver area and, after the pandemic, has partnered with The Sexploratorium to continue their work in kink education in a new city.
