Join us for an exclusive virtual workshop with bilingual therapist, consultant, and immigration evaluation expert Maira M. Hernandez (she/her/ella), designed for licensed mental health professionals interested in learning the foundations of conducting forensic evaluations for immigration cases.
In this interactive 1-hour training followed by a 30-minute networking session , Maira will introduce you to the essentials of providing evaluations for cases including VAWA, U Visa, T Visa, Asylum, and Hardship Waivers. Drawing on her years of experience as a trauma-informed therapist and consultant, Maira will help you understand how to expand your services to support immigrant communities during these critical times.

About Maira M. Hernandez:Maira M. Hernandez is a trauma-informed licensed marriage and family therapist licensed in California, Oregon, Utah, Texas, Idaho, and Florida. She is the CEO of M.H. Family Counseling and Consulting, where she specializes in bilingual counseling services and forensic psychological evaluations for immigration cases, including Asylum, VAWA, Extreme Hardship, Cancellation of Removal, Special Juvenile Immigrant Status, U Visa, and T Visa.
With over a decade of experience teaching, mentoring, and supervising therapists at Fresno State, Maira also brings extensive expertise as a keynote speaker and consultant. Her signature talks focus on leadership development, destigmatizing mental health within bilingual Spanish-speaking communities, and promoting Nurturing Parenting® practices. She has partnered with schools, social service organizations, and agencies nationwide and shared her insights on television, radio, and at conferences.
