The Monthly Music Hackathon series presents our Immersive Music Hackathon: a day-long, non-competitive, creative event exploring immersive music in virtual and real environments.

This workshop introduces techniques for approaching spacial audio, including ambisonics, plugins, and DAW workflow. It is recommended to download the following free software before the workshop:

How spatial audio works, the kinds of microphones and how they work, and how our ears tell our eyes where to look. Attendees should install (free) Unity 2017.2, and bring a laptop with headphones.
