Imagine Community 2025

Imagine Community is a free community banquet designed to foster connection, belonging, and emotional well-being for the unhoused, mentally challenged, and other community members in Leimert Park who often have few opportunities to gather and give thanks during the holidays.

Hosted by International Eye LA, the event transforms People Street Plaza into a pop-up dining room where guests are served a hot, sit-down meal in an atmosphere of dignity and inclusion without stigma or separation.

Alongside the meal, professionals and community members engage in conversations and creative art activities exploring themes of self-worth, connection, and resilience. By nurturing humanity through fellowship, art, and shared stories, Imagine Community aims to support mental health, reduce isolation, and strengthen the bonds that make our community whole.
