The 2025 Imagination Lunchbox Virtual Open Call Auditions returns Sunday September 14, 2025 from 12pmEST-2pmEST virtually, powered by Zoom.. The Imagination Lunchbox Virtual Open Call Auditions (for actors, comedians, singers, dancers, speakers and more) will be hosted ImaginationLunchbox founder multi-award winning actor/filmmaker AnthonyMichael Hobbs. The virtual open call event connects actors with panelist of filmmakers.

The IL Virtrual Open Call Audition event was founded by Anthony Michael Hobbs through his company Imagination Lunchbox, LLC. He is a SAG/AFTRA actor who has amassed multiple awards for his acting. His most notable acting role is in the Emmy Award nominated mini-series The Abolitionist which resulted in Hobbs attending the Emmys at 9 years old and being interviewed by ABC news. He is also a multi-award winning filmmaker with over 20 awards for his short films.

The IL Virtual Open Call Audition is part of the activities of the Imagination Lunchbox International Children's & Adult's Film Festival screening and awarding short films made by adults and children from around the world.

ILIFF events include:

Mon. - Fri. Sept. 8-12, 2025: ILIFF shorts will be screened at selected Baltimore City schools

Saturday September 13, 2025 (12 - 2pmEST): The ILICFF and ILIAFF shorts will be screened publicly virtually, powered by Zoom, and at teh Eubie Blake Cultural Center in Baltimore.

Saturday September 13, 2025 (3-5pmEST): The IL/Eubie Blake Filmmaking Workshops with John Wesby (Wesby One Productions) speaking on film production; Ursula V. Battle (Battle Stage Plays) speaking on scriptwriting; Chuck Borden (Faceplant Films) a stuntman/director for Fast & the Furious and Star Trek movies, speaking on directing, and Hoolywood attorney Richard B. Jefferson asking any legal questions.

Sunday September 14, 2025 (12 - 2pmEST): The Imagination Lunchbox Virtual Open Call Auditions held virtually, powered by Zoom, where actors perform before a panel of filmmakers, hosted by ILICFF and ILIAFF foudner Anthony Hobbs.

Sunday September 14, 2025 (3pmEST-5pmEST): The Imagination Lunchbox Open Court Community Basketball games held at the UA House at Fayette in Baltimore. Where head basketball coaches from Morgan State University (Kevin Broadus), Bowie State University (Darryl Brooks) and Imagination Lunchbox head coach Mark Winchester will be scouting. One selected player will play founder Anthony Hobbs for a cash prize!
