Overview

As part of the Winter Garden Gathering at Provan Hall, join artist Eva Jack for this drop in workshop

Join us in the Provan Hall Winter Garden Day for a fun, hands-on workshop led by Eva Jack. Inspired by broken pieces of pottery found across Glasgow, we will use clay to re-imagine what these objects may have once looked like - sculpting our own ‘Imaginary Artefacts’.

Drop-in, suitable for all ages!

Eva Jack is an artist and educator. In 2021, she started Fragment Found - an online archive of pottery sherds which people can upload their finds to. The aim of the archive is to bring people together through the shared joy of collecting discarded, broken and forgotten pieces of history and finding new value and meaning within them. Further to the artefacts themselves is the process of finding them as a way to connect to the land, the past and each other.
